The founder of F-Secure Corp., Risto Siilasmaa, joined Whatamap.com Ltd by a markable investment in July 2008. Risto is also the chairman of Elisa Corp. and a board member of Nokia Corp. We welcome Risto to Whatamap.com Ltd!
Another significant change in Whatamap.com's financing is that Tekes (Finnish Technology Agency) approved Whatamap.com to its new Young Innovative Businesses (in Finnish, Nuoret Innovatiiviset Yritykset, NIY). The new program supports young businesses in both r&d and business development.
